Sandor Nagy joins FFL as Operations and Program Manager

NEWS RELEASE – Vaduz, 9 June 2021. Fit for Life Foundation is delighted to announce the appointment of Sandor Nagy as Operations and Program Manager, effective from 1 June 2021. As the Foundation’s first employee, Sandor will help guide FFL’s growth over the next years and advance its vision of healthy aging.

Previously, Mr. Nagy spent 20 years at the World Economic Forum. As Associate Director of the Schwab Foundation for Social Entrepreneurship, he contributed to the creation of national Social Entrepreneur of the Year Awards in over a dozen countries and headed up the selection of laureates in Europe. After 10 years with the foundation, he joined WEF’s event team as Senior Event Operations Manager for all Global and Regional events.

Jack Lowe, the initiator of the Fit for Life Foundation, said: “Sandor’s appointment as our first employee marks an exciting new chapter for the foundation. His organizational and management skills will be particularly valuable as we work to consolidate our FFL Awards program and build a global community dedicated to improving older people’s lives through innovation at the grassroots level.”

Mr Nagy said: “I am thrilled to be joining FFL, one of the few foundations today focusing on the global challenge of population aging. The world needs champions to inspire people to remain as fit and healthy as possible in order to ensure a better quality of life in old age. I look forward to bringing this vision to a wider audience and building new partnerships to scale up the impact of our grants.”
